Harry Kane admitted it was an ‘perfect night’ after marking 100 appearances with a brace as England beat Finland 2-0 on Wednesday.
Kane’s brace helped the Three Lions maintain their record winning run in the Nations League under caretaker boss Lee Carsley.
The Bayern Munich forward was presented with his golden cap by Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole as he celebrated his 100th appearance before the game, while his family posed for photographs.
“Of course as a striker I wanted to score goals and make it a moment to remember,” Kane said.
“To score two, to finish beautifully and win 2-0 was perfect. It’s a proud night for me and my family. “

“I feel I can play as a no.9 or no.10, even in midfield, it depends on the manager I play with,” Kane added.
